Primary logo
The representation of our full-color crest should always be the first choice for representing our brand.
Ensure the mark is displayed at a sufficient size to retain detail; we recommend a minimum height of 50 pixels.
Key guidelines
Our full-color primary mark needs a white outline when used on backgrounds with a color value of 50% or more.
Remember: If it's difficult to tell where the black puck behind Wild Wing's mask ends and the background color begins, you're in trouble.
The registered trademark and season presenting partner mark should always be consistent with the outermost color of the primary mark.
Clear space + usage
Our logo deserves consistent room to breathe. Adequate clear space protects the integrity of our mark—and the branding of any third parties displayed alongside it.

B
The minimum clear space is B, equal to the width of Wild Wing's gold eyebrow in the full-color mark. This is measured from the outermost black line in the mark (encompassing any potential season presenting partner). In other words, the white outline necessary for darker backgrounds counts towards the minimum clear space requirement.
Monotone marks
When necessary, a single-color white or black version of the mark may be used. Monotone orange is also an available option; please confirm use cases with the Anaheim Ducks Creative department.
Remember: Wild Wing's mask should always be the lightest part of our mark. Keep this in mind particularly when dealing with:
Embroidery and etching
Translucent materials such as glass (what color/visual will typically be behind this material?)
Tonal designs
Any combination of the above
Incorrect usage
Be mindful; to avoid common examples of incorrect and unapproved applications, follow these three simple rules. In short:
Never alter our marks. This means the logo file should always be placed unedited, unrotated and generally untouched—including the registered trademark symbol—on the asset being produced.
1
Ensure the logo is never stretched, skewed, rotated or otherwise distorted.
2
Never alter any colors in our marks. This applies to all elements, including the outline of the mark (adding additional borders is also not permitted), inverting the mark and recoloring any part of the logo. Never overlay imagery, textures or other elements.
3
Remember to use the appropriate logo version for your background. Do not remove any elements of the mark, including outlines and the registered trademark symbol. And remember, Wild Wing's mask should always be the lightest part of our mark.
